Assign a Static IP Address to an iPad

SALIDO POS network requirements specify that all iPads should be assigned a Static IP address for stability and additional security.

Open the iPadOS Settings app
Select Wi-Fi (or Ethernet)
Select the blue i icon
Select Configure IP
Select Manual
Select IP Address and enter an available IP address (please discuss with your Network Manager or SALIDO Support if not known)
Select Subnet Mask and enter 255.255.255.0
Select Router and enter the IP address of the router (accepted standard practice puts the router at IP ending .1)
Select Save
Select Configure DNS
Select Manual
Select Add Server
Enter 8.8.8.8
Select Add Server
Enter 8.8.4.4
Select Save
Confirm all information is accurate
Select Wi-Fi
Confirm active network connect indicated by a blue checkmark

Hardware
