RESTAURANT RE-OPENING GUIDE!
SALIDO is excited to be a part of your reopening plans. To ensure you are set up for success we've put together some helpful tidbits for your relaunch! Please feel free to reach out to our Support Team at (855) 879-7595 or support@salido.com with any questions or concerns during this process.
Ensuring your SALIDO Terminals are up to date:
POS Terminals should be on the latest version of the SALIDO app, in order to ensure your team is taking advantage of all the improvements and new features released over the past few months! When prompted with a green “Update” button on the bottom left corner of the screen, please follow these steps to activate.
Confirming Terminal and printer connectivity:
Run a test ticket containing one of every item you’ll be offering for Take-Out, Delivery, or Outdoor Dining. Ensure there are no Prep Station Errors, and that every item is printing to its expected station. Don’t forget to test receipts to the Terminal printers as well!
In the event of Prep Station errors, double-check to ensure the printer is turned on to receive orders, and the Terminal is connected to the correct Network.
Please test a payment, and ensure your Bluetooth card readers are connected to each Terminal:
Making Menu Changes:
Menu Item changes are all handled under the “Menu Management” pages in the Bridge. Please visit our Resource Center for additional information on how to create a new Menu Item, add a Menu Item to a Menu, or change the order of your Menu Sections on the POS.
Removing Tables from Floor Plans:
Editing a Floor Plan is a two-step process. First, table numbers are defined in Revenue Centers via the SALIDO Bridge. Next, tables and objects are placed and arranged on the Floor Plan using a SALIDO POS Terminal. In the case of removing tables, please remove the table from the Floor Plan on the POS before removing from the Bridge.
Changing Default Terminal Settings:
Every Terminal can be configured to default to a specific Revenue Center, Order Type, or Menu, as well as have specific Preferences which dictate the staff workflow. These can be changed to fit your new needs with a visit to the Devices > Terminals page in the Bridge. For more information, please review here.
Unarchiving Employees:
Employees who were previously employed by your Organization can be brought back on seamlessly by unarchiving their Employee Profile in the Bridge. The details of their employment, including their email address, PIN, Position, and Pay Rate will be preserved.
