Menu Items are created and managed on the SALIDO Bridge. The Menu Item database exists at the Brand level—i.e. multiple Locations under the same Brand share a single bank of Menu Items. Once created, Menu Items can be cloned to save time when creating new items that share characteristics.
Create a Menu Item:

c. Extra Information Appears on POS buttons and Prep Tickets (15 Character Maximum)
d. Menu Item Category Group with similar Menu Items
e. Prep Station Select Prep Device(s)

a. Variation Name Defaults to Regular
b. Price Define a Price or leave blank for Open Pricing
c. Tax Select a Tax Rule
d. Optional Select Add Variation
e. Define Name, Price, and Tax Rule for each Variation

a. Select Add Modifier Group
b. Click in the Modifier Group field
c. Select a Modifier Group from the drop-down
d. Toggle Prompt ON or OFF
NOTE: Menu Items automatically inherit Modifier Groups assigned to their Menu Item Category

Clone a Menu Item:
Clone an existing Menu Item to create new items with consistency and speed. A clone of an item automatically inherits the following characteristics from the source Menu Item:
- Menu Item Category
- Prep Station
- Variations
- Tax Rules
- Modifier Groups
