Apple iOS 13 introduced a new Privacy setting to explicitly allow or deny individual applications the ability to share data via Bluetooth. Upon launching the SALIDO Point of Sale app for the first time after updating to iOS 13, the user will be prompted to allow the app to access Bluetooth:

Select OK to allow.

If this prompt is dismissed, it will not appear again and the SALIDO Point of Sale app will be unable to connect to the MagTek eDynamo Credit Card Reader. Bluetooth permission must be explicitly granted to the application in the iPad Settings App.

 If the SALIDO POS app does not have permission to access Bluetooth, the following messages will appear under SALIDO Settings > Card Reader in quick succession:

Your iPad's Bluetooth setting is OFF. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and toggle it on.
Followed by, No devices were found in the Bluetooth range or all can be connected to other terminals.
