Scan to Pay with SALIDO
What is Scan to Pay?
Scan to Pay allows guests to scan a QR Code with their phone and pay for the meal at their table! This means they can pay when they are ready. It saves guests and servers time, and reduces wear and tear on in-store payment hardware.
How does it work?
When a guest scans the QR Code with their phone, they are taken to a webpage hosted by SALIDO where they input their Credit Card information and apply their desired tips to the check. Once they pay, it automatically updates the check on the SALIDO POS. The service team can review the payment and close the check at their convenience.
How do I get the new Scan to Pay Feature?
There are a few technical settings that must be turned on in order to use Scan to Pay. In the SALIDO Bridge Permissions will need to be updated, and then the Scan to Pay feature will need to be configured.
