A Role is a defined set of permissions governing Employee access to various features of both the SALIDO POS and the SALIDO Bridge. Roles are assigned to Positions. A single Position can have multiple Roles, and a single Role can be assigned to multiple Positions. See Positions vs. Roles for more on the differences between Positions and Roles.
For example:
- A Manager Role might be assigned to several different Positions:
- Floor Manager
- Bar Manager
- Beverage Director
- A Floor Manager Position might include a single Role:
- Manager
- Whereas a Regional Director Position may include multiple Roles:
- Manager
- Admin (wherein Admin contains additional privileges)
