Open and Close a Bank

Banks are used to track cash payments against a predetermined starting amount. Banks are always associated with a specific Terminal. Bank Tracking is controlled in Preference Profiles and can be either By Employee or By Terminal.

Open a Bank on the SALIDO POS:

Enter an Employee PIN on the SALIDO POS Home Screen
Navigate to the SALIDO Main Menu using the Three Bars icon on the top right corner
Select Manage Bank from the SALIDO Main Menu
Select Open Bank
Enter the Opening Bank Amount using the keypad
If Bank Tracking > By Employee is enabled, select the Bank Owner from the list of Employees on the right side
Select Open Bank
Select Yes on the Open Bank confirmation pop-up

Close a Bank on the SALIDO POS:

Enter an Employee PIN on the SALIDO POS Home Screen
Navigate to the SALIDO Main Menu using the Three Bars icon in the top right corner
Select Manage Bank from the SALIDO Main Menu
Select Close Bank
Enter the Closing Bank Amount (which includes the total amount owed plus the opening bank amount) using the keypad
Select the Green Check icon from the bottom right
Select Yes on the Close Bank confirmation pop-up
POS will display the over/under delta of Expected Cash vs Actual Cash A POS Report will print with the bank details: Starting Amount, Ending Amount, Amount Due, Amount Over or Under
