Custom Payment Methods are user-defined payment methods that reduce a Check's Balance Due without being directly connected to a tender such as Cash, Credit Card, or Gift Card. Typical use cases include House Accounts, Direct Bill Accounts, non-integrated Gift Cards, and non-integrated 3rd Party platforms.

Add a Custom Payment Method to a Check

Select Pay from the Check Action Drawer
Select + Other Payments
Select a Payment Method
Use the keypad enter the Amount and/or Tip
Select Add

Alter / Update / Adjust a Custom Payment

Payments can be adjusted on the SALIDO POS during the same Business Day.

Select Pay from the Check Action Drawer
Select the Pencil icon to the right of the payment
Select the Amount or Tip field
Use the keypad to update the amount
Select Update

Remove a Custom Payment

Custom Payments can be deleted/refunded on the SALIDO POS during the same Business Day.

Select Pay from the Check Action Drawer
Review the payment information
Select the X icon to the right of the payment
Select Confirm
