Add a payment
Merchants leveraging the MagTek iDynamo or eDynamo Credit Card Reader can add credit card payments to a check in three (3) ways:

a. Select Pay from the Check Action Drawer
b. Select + Manual CC to authorize for the full Balance Due c. Select + Other Payments to authorize for an amount other than the full Balance Due |
Split payment between multiple credit cards
Multiple credit card payments can be added to a check in succession via swipe or dip. The Balance Due will be automatically and evenly distributed among the total number of card payments added to a Check. Any individual payment can be manually updated to reflect a fixed amount, at which point all remaining non-fixed payments will automatically adjust to evenly redistribute the remaining balance due.

Add a tip to a credit card payment
As a best practice, all tips should be adjusted after a payment has been authorized, but before the check has been closed.

|
|
NOTE: Sales for checks that are reopened are re-allocated to the hour in which they are re-closed. For this reason, we strongly encourage that tips be adjusted before closing checks to prevent skewing the sales data.
Alter / Adjust / Update a credit card payment amount
During the same Business Day, previously authorized credit card payments can be adjusted on the SALIDO POS.

After the close the Business Day, please contact SALIDO Support (support@salido.com) to discuss changes to a settled payment.
Refund a credit card payment
During the same Business Day, credit card payments can be refunded on the SALIDO POS.
