Change a Terminal Printer

Each SALIDO POS Terminal is assigned a Terminal Printer and there are some situations where a Terminal will need to use a different Printer. There are two methods to make this change, through the Bridge and on the POS Terminal itself.

 

Change a Terminal Printer in the Bridge

  1. Select Devices from the SALIDO Bridge Main Menu and select Terminals from the dropdown

  1. Select the Three Dots next to the corresponding Terminal and click Edit

  1. Click the drop-down menu under Printer

  1. Select the new printer

    NOTE: Only Terminal Printers will appear in this list

  1. Click Save

Change a Terminal Printer on the POS

  1. Select the Three Bars to navigate to the SALIDO Main Menu

  1. The printer that is currently assigned to the terminal is listed at the top. Select a Terminal Printer from the list to assign a different device.

    NOTE: Printers are listed in alphabetical order, with terminal printers listed first. If a printer does not have a terminal role, it cannot be assigned.

  1. The Terminal will now use the new printer for Guest Receipts!
