Order Types provide a breakout point in Reporting to indicate how goods and services are delivered (ie. Dine-In vs. Take Out) and are a variable in the variable pricing configuration. Archive any Order Types that are no longer relevant.

WARNING! Renaming an Order Type will change the Order Type name for historical reports! Archive obsolete Order Types and Create a New Order Type instead.

WARNING! Order Type should only be archived at the very beginning of a business day before any sales have been generated for the entire Organization. Archiving Order Types once sales have been generated can create corrupted data and app instability.

NOTE: All Price Rules must be re-saved after Creating or Archiving an Order Type

Archive an Order Type

Select Setup from the SALIDO Bridge Main Menu and select Order Types from the dropdown
Click the Three Dots on the Order Type and select Edit
Select the red Archive button
Order Type has been archived!

Restore an Order Type

Select Setup from the SALIDO Bridge Main Menu and select Order Types from the dropdown
Toggle from Active to Archived
Click the Three Dots on the Order Type and select Edit
Select the red Restore button
Order Type has been restored!
