Order Alerts for KDS Environments

Enable POS Order Alerts in an Order Type to send an SMS message to a guest's phone number when an order is ready for pickup. POS Order Alerts are only available for Locations leveraging the SALIDO KDS solutions. Please contact an Account Manager or SALIDO Support to discuss KDS options.

NOTE: Standard messaging and data rates may apply.

Enable POS Order Alerts

Select Settings from the SALIDO Bridge Main Menu and select Order Types from the dropdown
Select an Order Type NOTE: Changes to Order Types will impact all Locations within an Organization where that Order Type is available. Please discuss with an administrator or senior management before making changes that may affect other Locations!
Toggle ON Enable POS Order Alerts
Select Save

Add an Order Alert Phone Number to an Order

Select Label and Covers
Select Order Alert Phone
Enter a ten-digit Phone Number Select Confirm
Deselect Label and Covers NOTE: If a phone number is not available, No Phone or Not Required MUST be selected before the Check can be Closed
Select Save/Send and/or add payments and select Close Check
Mark the order as DONE on the Expo KDS
Order Ready Message is delivered to the Guest
