Create an Order Type

An Order Type is a label that can be applied to broad categories of similar checks. They describe how services and products were provided and create a useful breakout point in reporting to help differentiate revenue streams. Common examples include:

Dine-In
Take Out
Delivery

Order Types are created and managed by Organization and can be restricted or enabled for individual Locations by administrators.

Select Settings from the SALIDO Bridge Main Menu and select Order Types from the dropdown
Select Create New
Name the Order Type
Select (Toggle ON or OFF) if checks of this Order Type Can be Scheduled If yes, define a Default Prep Time in minutes NOTE: Defaults to 30 minutes if left blank
Select (Toggle ON or OFF) if checks of this Order Type Require a Guest NOTE: See Create a Guest for more information Optional Require a Delivery Address
Select (Toggle ON or OFF) if checks of this Order Type Enable POS Order Alerts NOTE: Only compatible with Locations leveraging KDS
Select all Locations at which the Order Type is available NOTE: All Locations are selected by default
Select Save

NOTE: All Price Rules must be re-saved in each applicable Location to enable new Order Types on the SALIDO POS.

Select Settings from the SALIDO Bridge Main Menu and select Price Rules from the dropdown
Select a Price Rule
Select Price Level(s) for the Order Type NOTE: New Order Types underline the Default Price Level in red
Select Save
