The “MagTek swiper not detected” error indicates the app does not recognize the . It may have come loose from the Lightning port of the iPad or been intentionally disconnected. Please ensure the physical connection is secure by disconnecting and reconnecting the card reader.
Additionally, from time to time the iPad itself will fail to recognize peripheral devices such as the MagTek despite being physically connected. Please restart the iPad.
