“Terminal is having syncing issues” indicates a temporary disruption in a Terminal’s ability to communicate with the Cloud, and by extension, the other Terminals. This message will typically clear itself rather quickly as network disruptions recover and the device regains Internet connectivity. If the message persists, please follow the steps below to confirm Network Settings and test for Internet connectivity:
To confirm iPad Network Settings:
- Exit the SALIDO POS app by clicking the iPad Home Button
- Open the iPad Settings app
- Select Wi-Fi from the left side navigation
- Confirm the appropriate SALIDO-specific SSID is selected and listed at the top of the right side of the screen
- There should be a blue check mark next to the network name
- If there a “No Internet Connection” warning under the SSID, please proceed to contact the Network Manager
- After confirming the above, exit the Settings app
- Open Safari
- Navigate to any website (e.g. cnn.com, nytimes.com, etc.)
- If the website loads, exit Safari and reopen the SALIDO POS
- If the website does not load, please contact the Network Manager or Internet Service Provider
