Hold an Item on a Check

Menu Items can be placed on Hold after they are added to a check and before they are ordered (i.e. sent to the kitchen), useful when guests order a dessert in advance or when a server needs to return to a table to ask a clarifying question before submitting an order.

Hold an Item

Add items to a check
Select one or more unordered item(s)
Select Hold
On Hold item(s) highlight in orange
Return to the Floor Plan or Checks View
Tables and Checks pulse to indicate they contain on Hold item(s)
