Create a Modifier Group

Modifier Groups are collections of similar Modifiers applied to either Menu Item Categories or to individual Menu Items. Modifier Groups can be configured to limit the number of allowable selections, and Modifier prices can be overridden within the context of a Modifier Group without altering the Modifier itself. Modifier Groups can be configured to Prompt every time an item is ordered, or exist in the background to be accessed selectively.

Create a Modifier Group and associate Modifiers

Select Menu Manager from the SALIDO Bridge left-hand navigation and choose Modifier Groups from the drop-down
Click the blue Create New button in the top right of the page
Name the Modifier Group
Choose a Selector Type Single - One modifier from the group must always be selected (limited use cases; not recommended) Multiple - One or more modifiers from the group can be selected (recommended)
Select Add Modifier
Click the Select Modifier drop-down
Select a Modifier from the list
Repeat Steps 5 through 7 as needed
Optional Assign prices to Modifiers specific to this Modifier Group
Optional Select Default On or Off for individual Modifiers within the group Default On — Modifier is automatically selected within the Modifier Group Default Off — Modifier is not automatically selected within the Modifier Group
Optional Set a Maximum and/or Minimum # of Modifiers allowed within the NOTE: Modifier Groups with a required Minimum # of Modifiers prompt automatically on the Point of Sale. Use this mechanism to achieve Forced Modifiers.
Select Save in the bottom right
