To prevent duplicate orders, the SALIDO POS by design does not allow a check to be accessed by more than one Terminal at the same time. Additionally, as a cloud-based Point of Sale system, SALIDO Terminals are constantly syncing their check data to the cloud and with each other via the Internet. Attempting to open a check on Terminal B that is already open on Terminal A will yield an "Unable to Access Check" error message.
This constant syncing is maintained while the app is open and running on all Terminals. If the app is exited (or "backgrounded") on even a single Terminal, or if an iPad goes to sleep, the SALIDO POS stops running on that Terminal, and syncing to all devices is disrupted. For this reason, we strongly recommend that all operators leverage Guided Access to ensure the SALIDO POS app stays open and running at all times.
“Unable to Access Check” Message
The check being accessed is currently in use on another Terminal. Please attempt access again when the check is no longer in use.
Unable to Access Check |
Table “Locked” on the Floorplan
A check will appear Locked on the Floor Plan View and Checks View when it has been recovered (Overridden or “Forced”) from a given Terminal. Check Recovery is intended for use when a device has been physically corrupted, and the software prevents the Terminal from which a check was Overridden from ever accessing that specific check again.
All other terminals will be able to access the check except for the terminal from which it was overridden.
