To refund a payment within the same business day, Open a Closed Check through the "Checks Screen" from the SALIDO Main Menu and locate check by searching information in Check ID using search bar. Once opened:
To refund a Gift Card Redemption
- Navigate to the payments screen on the relevant check
- Press the “X” button (available on the far right) on the gift card payment that needs to be refunded
On the next step, press “Refund” to remove and refund the payment from the check. (Note: The POS needs an active internet connection to refund a gift card payment. If the POS is offline, as seen by the offline indicator in the top right corner of the screen, the “refund” action is disabled.)
