In order for the register to open, the printer has to be fully functioning, to verify:
1. Ensure printer is on with a solid blue indicator ligiht
2. Ensure printer has paper and is not jammed
3. Ensure cable between printer and cash drawer is secure
If the above is confirmed, and register is still not opening - verify that an open bank has been assigned to the terminal.
